Join us for a FREE evening celebrating community, creativity, and the artists who make Space 4 Art their home!
A special invitation to our newer friends
If you discovered Space 4 Art through our 2026 exhibitions and workshops at Art Produce Gallery, come see where it all begins at Space 4 Art, 340 16th Street!
For more than 15 years, Space 4 Art has provided affordable studio and live/work spaces for multidisciplinary artists in San Diego. One of our longest-running traditions is Open Studios— a casual opportunity to step inside the spaces where our resident artists create, experiment, build, and make a living from their work.
We typically open our studios to the public several times a year, but in 2026, our robust schedule of exhibitions and community workshops at Art Produce Gallery has kept us busy! September’s Open Studios will be our first of the year, and we’re excited to finally welcome you (back) to 340 16th Street!
Explore the Studios
Wander through our artist studios at your own pace, meet our resident artists, and get a peek at works taking shape in their spaces. Enjoy casual conversations with artists and other folks who value creativity and community.
And if something catches your eye, don’t hesitate to ask an artist if it’s for sale! Space 4 Art never takes a cut of artists’ sales, so your purchase goes directly toward supporting a local San Diego artist.
Admission is FREE. Drinks and snacks will be available for purchase with cash, card, or Venmo.
