San Diego Union-Tribune arts writer Michael Rocha included Space 4 Art’s The Giving Tree among his visual art picks in his 2026 Fall Arts Preview.
Curated by MCASD Senior Curator Jill Dawsey, The Giving Tree brings together artists working across diverse media to explore generosity, exchange, care, abundance, connection, and the many things—material and otherwise—that we offer one another. Inspired by Shel Silverstein’s beloved children’s book, the exhibition considers the complicated relationships between giving, receiving, and our connections to the natural world.
Join us for the closing reception this Saturday, September 26, from 12–3 p.m. at Art Produce Gallery, with an artist panel beginning at 1 p.m. Come celebrate the exhibition, meet the artists, and experience The Giving Tree one final time before it closes.
