KPBS Spotlights Space 4 Art's 'Actual Size'
KPBS Arts & Culture reporter and The Finest host Julia Dixon Evans has included Space 4 Art’s upcoming exhibition, Actual Size, among her Top 5 weekend arts events in San Diego.
Curated by Lara Bullock, Actual Size brings together five local artists— Andrew Alcasid, Diana Benavídez, Nick Lesley, May-ling Martinez, and Aldo Cervantes —to explore the human scale through conceptual, sculptural, sound, and photographic works. As Evans notes, “The exhibition returns our attention to the everyday places where life unfolds: ordinary objects, familiar rituals, the built environment, and the body itself.”
Join us for the free opening reception Saturday, October 10, from 4–7 p.m. at Art Produce Gallery in North Park. Actual Size remains on view through November 7.
