At Space 4 Art, we believe artists and their work are an essential resource, not just a “nice to have.” Over the past 12 years, we have saved San Diego artists hundreds of thousands of dollars on housing and studio space. Space 4 Art provides stable space to live and work so artists can truly focus on creative growth, educating youth, and community projects. We are interested in intentional, holistic partnerships with businesses who share our desire to see San Diego artists thrive, creating space for their work to shape our city and expand our imaginations. Sponsor S4A Events
Our intentionally free events bring together seasoned arts professionals, emerging artists, and a diverse cross-section of the public to share experimental work. We produce 4 to 6 events per year, both on- and off-site.
Sponsor STEAM Education
We pay our artists to bring their studio work into K-12 settings in under-resourced neighborhoods. Our approach is project-based and integrates STEM with arts skills and practices.
