Informed Artist Series

Subsidizing Your Income Through Teaching

6-8 pm :: 6:30 Talk Begins

Free

The Informed Artist Series is presented by SPACE 4 ART on the first Thursday of every month.  The series kicked off with “How Copyright Law Empowers Artists” presented by New Media Rights and continued with other topics like how to price your work and most recently "10 Things I Never Want to see in a Press Release Again" presented by Alex Zaragoza of SD CityBeat.

This month's theme is "Subsidizing your Income Through Teaching" presented by Curtis Bracher.  Struggling to make ends meet?  Don't worry.  We all are.  In this night's talk Curtis will walk you through the escapade that is landing teaching positions as well as give you a chance to ask the specific questions you may have about presenting yourself, what criteria help get you the job, and handy tips for success.  Join us as we delve into this subject and enjoy a few drinks while we help each other out.

To submit suggestions for subjects or speakers email submissions@sdspace4art.org.
