Installation will be in Space 4 Art's community built classroom, please use 340 16th St., San Diego, CA 92101 entrance.

What is SDXG?

The San Diego Experimental Guitar Show, now in its fourth year, encourages local musicians who have outgrown the limitations of conventional guitar playing. These artists have expanded their technique by using their imagination rather than instruction. Gone are the orthodox chords and standard scales normally attributed to the instrument. A new musical vocabulary of tone and timbre emerges in its place.

Wages is a multi-sided project led by Nick Campbell, based in Los Angeles. Initially started in 2010 after the break-up of previous band Arizona, Wages has grown into an open creative vehicle that is at times structured, at times free-form and conceptual.
