The Women's Caucus for Art, founded in 1972, is a national organization devoted to championing the contributions of women in the arts, expanding networking and exhibition opportunities, and advocating equity for all in the arts. The local chapter was founded in 1991.

WCA Mission: To create community through art, education, and social activism, locally, nationally and globally.

What we do and why to join: We demonstrate multi-media techniques at our monthly meetings, host exhibitions and have an outrageously fun annual retreat. WCA/SD is for any woman who simply enjoys expressing herself artistically.
